Han han, a famous chinese young writer, just wrote a article against revolution. no matter what he said, he represent a sort of people in china, people with handsome income (0.2-2mln) but not pure dirty money dont like revolution. btw, he have 2 mln RMB income per yr.
he said people too idiot to have a revolution or a democracy government. he is right, i have heard this point of view for more than 10 yrs.
all they want is one more biscuit.
so, the revolution which i have been waitting for 20 yrs may not come.

Lao-tse, however, most chinese thinker in history have their own interpretation. Sun-tse who wrote art of war had quote Lao-tse's words. clearly Sun-tse not a peaceful "not-doing" believer. also Wang anshi who lead political revolution in Song dynasty, wrote books interpret Lao-tse.
like marx, his philosophy is objective and dialectic, but his design of communism give me different feeling. i used to call marx "square head german philosopher".
