assuming that most of the traders or investors would expect and accordingly trade EURUSD i.e. expecting that a big rally in stocks would weaken USD.

Thanks for the info. However, my question was more related to the effect of announcement. A good bank earning report should be greeted with rise in EURUSD. However it moved on the contrary to lower side. And this puzzled me. Thanks

Hi All, I am puzzled by the fall in EURUSd immediately after the result announcement of banks. I was expecting a weakness in USD and rise in EURUSD. On the contrary it fall and it fell substantially for long period (14:14 to 14:22 UK time)before rising again. Can anyone explain this?
