Exiting the Exit Strategy

Bernanke's FOMC will use "disinflationary" reference to containing yields rather than benign growth. Thursday is his 2nd chance.

i see more action in CADJPY now that the downtrend has been broken. it IS a volatile pair but not as volatile as GBPJPY so you can go for it.

Hey Ashraf,

Can you give your preferred shorts between the pairs you suggested in the IMT, going into the Asian session? I suppose it's best to wait for the Canadian Fin. Min. to speak before opening any positions against CAD. Thanks for your help, I am most grateful.

Dear Ashraf,

In case the Fed meeting comes out with dollar negative news, and if at the same time we see continued drop in equities (which is dollar positive) how would you think the dollar would perform in the face of those two contradicting factors? in such a senario is better to stay away from dollar pairs and short commodities currencies agianst YEN?

Thanks

Ho, I hope you're doing better on that GBPCHF. it's turning lower. GBPAUD needs to break above 2.09, before showing 2.11.

the higher us government yields go the greater the dollar is bound to rebound. As this will attract flows to dollar fixed interest and cause a huge slow down in investment expenditures and drag down stocks all dollar positives.
