Gunjack, ok. I do not need to see that GS is shorting in order to short.
I shorted today on the spike because:
1) COT reports is showing extreme long speculators position which is bearish for oil price.
2) Reports are showing oil stockpiles at Cushing are through the roof.
3) Apparently Qadaffi's days are numbered and risk premium is gonna fall (something I wrote here yesterday).
So these 3 are the perfect storm for short oil.

Yes the CL and ES inverse correlation has been alive and well all day today

btw the democrats have asked that fool Obummer to open up the strategic petroleum reserves

No no it was King Abdallah read Reuters. Btw. a simple trick: oil goes up DOW goes and vice versa down i trade this pair with nice profits up and down.
