The only way that could lastingly save Euro is Eurobonds AND ECB as backstop. Ebonds is not enough and ECB would soon go belly up. Those treaty amendments to achieve budget discipline is a framework doesn't solve the interbank liquidity freezing. In the end if such kind of babble continues, there will be an enforced panic action and market gets its will to 120%.

Ok thx cat. I think Merkel knows full well that eBond is a given. Its a strategy of bringing ezone to its knees to beg forgiveness from germany. Then wam bang ebonds mam.

for today Merkozy killed Eur bank recovery and you name it. Tomorrow another It 6 mon bond auction...wait and see. Merkel will go under there is no way to avoid Eurobonds. or ECB QE that dwarfs the FED's. Eurobonds will propel EUR because the estimated yield 10 y is a fat 4.5 %.

You see when Japan sells german bunds and buys UK gilts... it is clear a big switch to left side traffic is coming. But this does in no way indicate the V2 remake plan is abandoned , not at all.
