Pipster, you may argue USDX being the causality for S&P5-- but frankly i see it all part of the same flow regardless of the order things

A must watch video indeed. Not surprisingly, Rick Santelli leads the poll with 91% judging him more trustworthy!

Hi,
Has anyone heard about this news:
U.S. Government to Unveil New $100 Note on April 21 http://www.newmoney.gov/newmoney/main.aspx?id=5415
One newspaper article in my country has confirmed this recently.
Is it really true and does it signal something in coming months?
Thanks advance for your explaination.

Did anyone watch the Chinese Premier's Q&A session that was televised live yesterday? I was watching it live but couldn't really get a sense of how the big boys could read into this.

Naively, sounded more of the same on the RMB appreciation and no mention of lending rates. Inflation worries in terms of what actions they plan to take, did he sort of not answer it directly?

This week's FOMC reminder:

19:53 GMT [Dow Jones] USD under pressure as upbeat global data spurs confidence about global outlook, says Bank of NZ Strategist Mike Jones. Says debate about China's yuan will continue after Premier Wen Jiabao Sunday warned other countries not to pressure China over its exchange-rate policy but won't take center stage as USD has "bigger fish to fry" this week with FOMC meeting; "THE MARKET REACTION TO THAT WILL BE VERY IMPORTANT IN TERMS OF USD SENTIMENT." Expects FOMC to confirm Fed's MBS and Agency debt buying will finish at end of March and "a modest upgrade of the Fed's assessment of the US economy is also likely." Tips initial support on USD index to hold at 79.50, resistance around 80.30. Index last 79.768.
