Thx Rezz, good article. Much in line with Mauldin Economics, which service encompasses top flight analysts. Irrational exuberance is always followed by shock and current situation over the last few months has, for me, been reflected in NYSE breadth and internal indicators. Timing is always the difficult one !

I just spotted AL's latest piece on the likely fundamentals for the USD, very helpful indeed and kinda synchs with my preferred wave count. Can always spot at least 2 alternate counts but one has to decide upon a "preferred" count until such time as invalidated.

"Complex" corrective patterns can take many pain in the ass forms but if this count is validated a corrective during the course of a wave 3;3 sequence will be shallow and short lived.

When we arrive at the end of wave 3:3 we can expect wave 4:3 to be a complex corrective (a mess). Why ? Because Elliott's "rule of alternation" is if wave 2 was a simple ABC corrective pattern then wave 4 shall be a complex pattern. Vice versa applies.

DX EW count. May 2011 low to July 2012 high completed first 5 series up label W.1,

Correction back to 1st Feb 2013 low, label W.2

Move up to 4th April high label W.1 of 3 (1:3)

Correction back to 1st May low label W 2:3. (Perfect ABC symmetry)

Move back up is now W.3:3 in progress. If true the 3:3 is the most powerful impulsive wave in any series.
