There is tremendous oposition to QE3 from some members of Congress, even finishing QE2 so who knows ?

@Ignore - Haven't got any posns in GC or SI pal, can't admit to being as smart to have picked them up when they were better value for money. But just thinking logically abt QE3 tells me there in for a win/win ride either way

It would be a big mistake for them to hike, I have no doubt about that. Trichet is a prize bullshitter so anything can happen on thursday.

@DaveO - In that worst case scenario precious metals wd hit astronomical levels and you could see a potential global financial restructuring...but far more likely is for the FED ponzi scheme to continue...either way does look like a win/win scenario for gold and silver bulls

Ashraf twittered over the weekend that he reckons we might see talk of QE3 in Q1 2012. That makes sense to me. By that time the next US recession will be on the horizon.
