Desi - interesting that the lower than expected number hasn't yet sparked any massive sell-off

Put a tight stop on my oil short last night, just above previous day's high. Hit my stop TO THE PENNY & now would be quite profitable again...TYPICAL!

@himo,another thing i beleve is there will be no usd rally anytime soon.we are an will be stuck in a trading range until the us feel it can let its currency move up..but right now they need to keep there dollar cheap to make themsalf (export) look attractive which will help get pl back to work(eventually)to replenish there inventory..so when the dollar gets too strong it always gets knocked down but when its too low it runs the risk of underminding other countries recovery(like the cad)then it gets proped up..its a balancing act..which i think is getting harder to balance when u have eurzones showing cracks of failing...this is why i feel ashraf has changed his short term bullishness on gold..1)u have us trying to be more hawkish an talkn exit strategy 2)u have uk talking about more qe an failing eur countries..as much as the usd should be getting stronger at the end of the day its not what the us wants or needs for there recovery an they are a powerful force..so play the up-down ride..gl
