FXT, if this aussie slide occurs as part of lower stocks & lower CAD, then we can see 1.0220s but still see lower AUDCAD.

Hi Ashraf, very nice work , thank you for your insights.
If the Aussie is to come under a bit of pressure are u thinking that the USDCAD could hold the parity level, and may be head toward 102/3 again? Do u have any views on USDCAD at this moment?

Thank you

thanks Callum, yes that could be the risk - but will wait for some confirmation after the dip before I enter. I am also mindful that with earnings season is on and the aussie has an almost 0.9 positive co-relation with the S&P.
Reaction on stocks post Intel earning after the close will help me decide if I enter on the long side

your audjpy short looks promising - Yen strength could be the flavour for the next few days.

@nzvik - this would be the 3rd time (Nov, Jan, and this week) we have AUDUSD went over 93, failed above 94, and subsequently pushed lower. There seems to be something about AUDUSD hitting above 93, when RBA and others come out dovish, and start to talk down on interest-rate expectations. I had some longs since last year, I closed out everything above 93, and now, totally sidelined right now. Initial thought for me is to re-consider LONG should AUDUSD breaks 94, in which case, I'd wait for a pull-back. In meantime, I am short on AUDJPY, with initial target of 85 and then see if it breaks below 84.80, and then target around sub-83 as next support.
