Please look at your MNI FX Bullets for the latest rumours and talks from Greece

Very hard for EURUSD to close above that 1.45 level will need to do so by NY 17:00 or 2200 BST

WEEKLY CHART i looking very bearish

Silver RALLYING off that key 34.20 (as argued in todays premium piece) looking very good as well as gold as the concerns shift to Eurozone.

See my Twitter on the proposed hedges offsetting EURUSD shorts.

We may see metals rallying om safe haven play from Eurozone rather than from QE2 or QE3.

Heres that SPIEGEL story i talked about on Twitter http://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/0,1518,761201,00.html

Lets face it we are heading for another bank crisis to pale all previous into insignificane. Eurozone can never work. Greece might as well get the hell out now. It was always a non starter. Nice place for holidaying. I will support them :-)

A business starting again is not equal to exiting the euro area. Structural reforms are. Exiting is the equivalent of moving the business to Albania.

I'm thinking big picture. The economic history of Greece before EU/EZ is a disaster. The bottom line is, except feta, they're wholly uncompetitive, there's nothing on Earth they can produce that others don't make better/cheaper. That's a very boggy foundation for independence. The euro is keeping them alive.

Mach, they certainly wont be financially stronger in the short term but think big picture. Look at Iceland example ! Look how much easier for population to correct malaise than for govnmt to force.
