Yes, Indeed, i never bought into the +100 forecasts but I did not (still do not) expect to see below 88 until H3. The big drop in USDJPY below 88 seen in Q3. For now, I am lowering my support from 92 to 89.00

Technically fancy going short usd/jpy and crosses myself but very wary of bargain hunting from japanese institutions in aussie,also verbal or expansive intervention from japanese government.

Be very careful with USD/JPY Ashraf himself could not see it going below 92.70 and he was not the only one. Sentiment extreme was long USD/JPY but a break of 92.50 is significant nevertheless I think short term it will hold 9200. Breaking 92.00 and the key 91.70 ushers in the down side . Its fate is tied in with equities principally with a strong negative correlation.

it seems to me, there are contradictory calls from Ashraf today

due to the GS case yen should extend strength next week

Taniral, USDJPY breaks 5-week trend line support of 92.50, while weekly chart shows stochastics possibly pointing to 90.50.
