Xaron,

Are you sending 'some kind of' signals to Ashraf? ;)

Btw, there's another difference b/w Ashraf and Qin...and that is of according respect (but I suspect that Ashraf's gradually coming out of his comfort zone...and QUITE understandably).

Ashraf,

Maaaan, you are SO cruel ("at least im glad he found someone w/ whom he can send emails to."). :D I mean *LOL* you're usually so composed...but for you to comment like this - this is SO funny.

And look at Abood. Man, do you expect Ashraf to be sitting on MSN or Skype taking calls all day? Imagine then if Qin came online - MY GOD! That would be the sure end of CMC... :p

Rim,

One, CIT's not THAT big enough to have an impact. Second, it is a clinical bankruptcy, i.e., we knew for months this was coming...we were prepared for this...and we know what to do w/ it now )unlike Lehman when it collapsed overnight,,,with no solution in sight)...

Xaron,

Welcome to the Forum!

If you go through the members' posts for the last quarter, you'll see the members CONSISTENTLY asking how and when to trade...and Ashraf CONSISTENTLY telling that he'll NOT advise...but ONLY give an opinion on it!

Try asking Ashraf, 'Should I short oil at 80?'...and a typical Ashraf reply would be 'I can only tell you a range - it is your initiative to place a trade...' (ok, s/thing like this). None here seem to think that Ashraf is 100% correct (it's normal)...and none here have burnt their accounts w/ Ashraf's help (have a poll).

I really DO NOT understand what, or who (I know this one), gave you the notion that Ashraf advises members on placing trades! He's always reiterated that this is not a advisory service (because it doesn't come for free). What I also recommend is to check out the posts of a certain, bitter member for the last quarter...and you'll understand why he seems to hold it against Ashraf.

Thanks v/ muxh and I hope I've made things clearer...

Raj,

You can select the date from the shown calendar and view previous IMTs accordingly.

Btw, I still maintain my view on the bearishness of oil. Technicals and fundamentals are okay, but have you considered the spilling capacity at Cushings? We're still oversupplied...and still NOT REALLY out of recession!

Forum,

Having shorted at 75.10, 77.50 and 79.92 (average 77.5), my loss is more or less covered! Still, I could've covered my losses at 77.64...but I decided to remain short (as I had announced a week back). I expect oil to fall to 75...and then we should be racing down to early 70s.

Should this be breather to a run up to breaking 80, then bad luck to me. In that case, at least I have the satisfaction of knowing that I didn't blindly follow the market...and employed my common sense!

Spec,

I'd like to think otherwise on Barclays! That's supposed to be good news...and will prove good for Barclays. They're on their own foot now - solid. But you're talking about risk aversion?

Besides, the Qatari sale has MORE to do w/ their interest in bidding for Sainsbury's than any perceived weakness in Barclays...

P.S. I like the wau you say, 'If this doesn't happen, that will'...'It could happen...otherwise that would'. Ofcourse, if I'm sleeping, then I'm not awake...and if I'm writing from the first floor, I'm not on the ground floor'.
