Dreadful weather here goes on and on, high winds up to 80mph and rain you never seen anything like it. Much coastal damage to south coast. What about FL weather, are you effected by the ice winter up country ?

Boring day in mkts, had several trades lined up, entered and stopped out at b/e on all---yawn !

Stock indices need to see more downside before the next exuberant move up so consolidate a little higher first then down to finish their corrections.

Code Red by John Mauldin and Jonathan Tepper-- Wiley. Central Bank policies with likely disastrous conclusions-- thoroughly recommend.

Wishing you a Happy and Prosperous New Year Ashraf with much respect for your tolerance of free speech and frequent outlandish commentary in the forum, not to mention crazy off-topic crap.

Same goes for my buddies here, let's all have a great 2014.

Stuff the taper, keep printing like there's no tomorrow, stocks up to the moon with back covered. Dish dosh, lubbly jubbly.

Who Says ? Do they have a bias? I must admit our british working classes and football hooligans can be a major embarrassment.

I have a feeling the tapering will be very spasmodic with some months seeing asset purchases increase. This type of game could extend well beyond the 12 month period currently envisaged by the market to completely finish with asset purchases. Let's take a provisional guess at 3 years ?

skipper, I am dow bullish into January. There is a line of thought on cycles which calls for a major top in about 3 months time. But u know cycles can be pretty unreliable. EW keeps on extending ad infinitum. I am a big ugly bear on stocks but QE = bull action = mainly longs.
