London and South East property prices growth do not reflect the rest of the country, not by a long way. There is plenty of scope for house price increases generally, just to get back to levels 6 yrs ago. During that 6 year period real inflation in UK has been very much higher than the official stats !

The problem we face is that banks are not fit for purpose. They no longer know how to assess credit risk, their only interest is to make as much money as possible by whatever means, however criminal.

The govnmt housing incentive scheme is extremely vulnerable to abuse. If banks have no idea how to assess basic lending criteria like LTV, earnings potential, job security then how can they employ responsible lending. This aside I don't think they even care about responsibility. Most bank CEO's should already be in Jail imho. I am sure Mark Carney will be aware of this sorry state of affairs and we have yet to see a responsible competent regulator. The new regulatory authority has yet to prove itself. I'm afraid I have very low confidence in that.

All this aside, immigration is still putting impossible strains upon our infrastructure and public services, not to mention housing. I do believe there will be a revolution against unsustainable immigration. Feelings are very strong indeed and nothing to do with racism, just pure common sense.

There are hundreds of tech analysis services all spouting their levels but most is over simplification:-) Nothing wrong with KISS principles but you still have to devise your very own personal Trade Plan.

AL has good take on inter market correlations and short to medium term fundamentals. That is to say the likely interpretation by market players rather than the "real" fundamentals wiping aside the b/s and hype. Nothing works all of the time and inter market correlations have been a nightmare in the last coupla years from my perspective. Fed and CB speak has also been a nightmare to grapple with. I find I can't cope with that stuff so technical trading is definitely my preference. Obviously we have to keep our ears and eyes open on the news streams and know when to trade and when to stand aside.

I think AL would benefit greatly with his signal service if he were able to "manage" his trades. Change trade parameters when market conditions change. Use dynamic stops to lock in profits as the trade progresses, abort trades early when necessary or stop and reverse---etc etc.

His current premium service trading platform and communication is efficient but it doesn't facilitate being able to manage trades. Once a new trade entry is posted it will sit there come hell or high water until it either reaches the TP target or the stop loss level. If a trade is open for two or three weeks there can be major change during that period to the original logic behind the trade idea.

a fractal pivot high must have 2 preceding bars with lower highs and 2 following bars with lower highs. A fractal pivot low has 2 preceding bars with higher lows and 2 following bars with higher lows.

perhaps sometimes potentially useful for gauging momentum divergence but often fakes.

stochastics do nothing more than follow price action where we are trying to predict price action
