@Cat - Cyprus is full of laundered russki money, it's what helped cause the property boom there in 2005-2008 (just like dubai) and those banks have huge exposure to greek debt.

@Sub your right it must have got stopped out. Is a shame it got caught in the chop of the US sess as is a decent call especially if CL solidly broke 95, then 96-97 wd def be on quite quickly.

@Juno1 yes I sold my 100 strike put today when US mkts opened, it was well ITM and a very tasty trade. Was a very low risk strategy. Play the long term CL moves via options and short term scalp the futures in either direction. If I remember correctly your were also short...Hope you held and killed it?

I had that gap bween 87-89 pointed out to me today by someone...knowing what mkts are like a gap fill is a definite certainty, when we get there is another matter.

Sub I personally dont think TA is anything but hocus pocus. But because everyone who counts in the market believes in it and programmes their robots to trade with it, you have to use it, and I do too.

I never said your or ignores ways were wrong, I merely stated they are whack and result in huge drawdowns. Ignore claims to have traded the markets in NYC...and maybe he did, who knows. But no bank or brokerage lets you employ the style you guys use, was my point. If this style earns u money then great. It really is not worth having an argument over.

Sub it's not about feeling superior or waving around how much % you made. Tho as we all know stats can be manipulated to suit anyone...Anyway you can pursue any strategy that you and your dear leader want. Its just not very sound or prudent in the longer run to keep gambling against the market. Far better to average up into strength than down into weakness...anyway each to their own!!
