U know what FXKid...U still have to do your own analysis...I believe Ashraf is using S&R, to make his call...the problem is when market is in a strong trend...it will test next S/R...but once the market gatgers enough momentum it doesn't give a damn about that S/R level...so you have to look for the next S/R and see whether that area will be the reversal point...and this can only be accomplished with the confirmation of a candlestick pattern...so do your own analysis and wait for confirmation or watch price action and make your decision on that...also be keen on fundamentals as well...sometimes it acts as a momentum for the trend to continue or reversal....that's my 2 cents.....

@ Ignore...No, I don't work...I know money management is key...I kinda develop this strategy where if I long/short a pair I use the previous day hi/lo as my SL...if it breaks it...then it invalidates my trade...so far it has proven true...so I cut my losses quickly and gain big on my wins...Just need to be patient....and confirm S & R before I pull the trigger...in this market that's all that matters....when fundamentals lines up with a S/R it makes the gain bigger...but have ways to go as I want to improve on writing my analytics on paper. Thanks for the advise.

It's never a good idea to run down the market....regroup and wait for the next opportunity.

Well, I've got burnt demo trading...but I believe I have a good understanding of support & resistance now, which was a huge problem for me during my trading journey...I still would consider myself a newbie....just opened a small live account...and I think so far so good....just need a trading partner...that's all....I know that this forum is pretty one sided...and sometimes stick to one stance too long to the detriment of some members blowing their accounts....but overall is good....Do you trade in a group or you just use this forum for support/feedback?

I think that we should at least aim to analyse chart and watch price action....never depend on anyone to outline where support & resistance levels are on your charts...strive to master this....once this is achieved you will be able to see a clearer direction of the market...There are a lot of fundamental drivers of the market, but technicals are very strong too...most people watch technical levels, and this is the general psychology of the market.....almost all traders are watching these levels as well....Keep up the good work Ashraf and continue to guide traders in the right direction...Thanks to you I've learnt a lot just by following you on your IMT's.

Ashraf, is it that your long term view for a fall in the Euro to 1.16 has changed?
