"Those on this forum kept fearing the GOLD RALLY, but i mentioned 1040 about 5 times this week as that 1023 failed prominently"
- Yes, we did, and yes you did, and of course, you were right - well certainly about 1070, and lower. (I think you mean that 1123 failed prominently). A blinding day. Hope you are resting well now. Tomorrow may be an anti-climax, but who knows ....
If we're set for ~1040 now, I'm ready ... (I think ...).
Thanks again Ashraf. Let's hope the votes reflect your magnificent contribution to trading-twitterers and forum-folk alike.
@Patriot: Could have been to do with gold tanking. AUD also fell against JPY due to JPY strength across the board. Cable has also fallen, so can't see that it's GBP strength ...
@Saka: Yes, very interesting. Is it true that the Chinese government encourages its citizens to buy physical gold? I have seen that said on (western) trading forums.
@Saka: Hi & welcome here. Yes, there is a lot of good stuff at FF too.
Personally, I've been getting away from technical trading and trying to get more into fundamentals (which I used to ignore 100%). The good thing about Ashraf is that he manages to combine fundamentals and technicals. I still think it's hard to find the right balance myself, but I'm still learning. A lot of it comes from experience and I think it becomes instinctive, although it's not a natural instinct. We have to learn it in some way, consciously or sometimes unconsciously, being aware of how the market is changing as well of course.
[Off-Topic again - Sorry, just realised/remembered there is a TZ setting at top right of main page - must have got unset across the reboot. Sorry folks - forget my previous posting]
[Off-Topic, sorry, but am I going crazy (probably), or did the times shown in this forum use to be shown as GMT? At least that's what I think I used to see. I am currently now seeing ET. Just booted my machine, so maybe that's the reason].

Amazing.
Oh well, can't win 'em all.
Still I suppose your friends in GS will be pumping it all back up soon enough ...
