and why would you like risk a long on eurusd - just see the trend of the last 10 days - we could be at 1.4 in the next 3 or 4 days !

looks like the decoupling has begun for the time being, dollar stronger - stocks remain strong too

that is a highly probable scenario - but it looks too easy to play ! I suspect it may be time for the relation between strong equities and weak dollar to de-couple to some extent - where in dollar strengthens but equities do not weaken much or even hold at current levels or strengthen.

difference between feb and Jan contract on oil has been creeping above $2. shorts better be careful now. USD strength may not weaken crude further.

6 months is a very long time frame - i don't even know what is going to happen in 6 weeks and sometimes 6 days ahead ! good luck

spec, good points. however, i would not conclude any fundamental shift on one days data - will wait for some confirmation - which risks getting onto the trade later - but better safe than early for me.

Asad, I am happy being a trader, will leave you to play the Soros part. whatever works for you. Hopefully, we will still see you at this forum once you have made your billions.
arbitrage is a different game and to really benefit you need to be able to spot the gaps before others and play big positions, as these gaps close pretty quickly once others figure it out.
Shorting into strength is for deep pockets or the .....
