Thanks Houram,
Wow... 30 pips. How do you gain any money on this?
Sorry, I have been trading CHF/NOK and the spread there might be upto 200 pips..... Trying to learn from you guys, to trade some different.
Anyway, best I did was shorting an interest meeting (CHF/NOK) in late April, 60% profit in 1 hour. Went in on 5,67 and out on 5,81 with just 30 X gearing. Wished I geared 90X....

FX,
Be patient......I know that you have been waiting for big drop for days......I checked some Japanese traders comment, they want to short USD/YEN.....but they said they want to see how market react on the report tomorrow, they are not short Yen side.......but they are waiting now.....

I don't have any idea on NOK/Yen.....I even don't have the trading pare on DBFX.......I have been avoiding to trade on Yen for 2 months......it is very unpredictable.....I am sorry........if I am not sure, I can't give you advice........

I believe that stock market will drop in near term, I think tomorrow is the profits taking day, If not. I will wait to next week......

Good luck!!

I am very cautious now with my FX trades and have decreased my stops from 50 pips to 30 pips for my swing trades. But I have increased my trade volume to compensate the fewer pips.

Qin, should have shorted JPY/NOK today, could have given me a good net. In on 0.0663 and out on 0.0651.........Around 40.000 NOK in profit in less than 22 hours.
Sure it will go higher, but still....
Sorry, I am getting unpatient, do you have any good JPY/NOK trades for me now?
:)

Ashraf; in your book (page 105 figure 4.21) about "EUR/USD vs US-Eurozone yield spreads, can you help me get a clearer understanding ?
let's say EMU GDP is -0.1 and the US is -0.1;the EMU int.rate is 1% and the US is 0.25%,
now the German 10 yr yield is @3.24 and the US10 yr yield is @3.34(00.30AM london time), so let's assume the US yield drop to 2.01% in the next few days, the EUR/USD could appreciate for the EMU int.rate and the 10 yr yield are higher despite the GDP figures?
and where can I see this chart updated(figure 4.21)?
thanks ;
