The Pirates are comin!
Well ONCE i fell victim to bank rumors...BAC going bankrupt ..sold off all BAC stocks then BAC skyrocketed... all this stuff SEC looking into JPM....for the very stupid. JPM is primary dealer
and now well there is a culprit who lost 2bln on risky bets... but what happened really?
JPM secured BBB debt with US treasuries AA+ and hedged with CDS and CDO but ...mark to market... no one bought BBB securities and CDO ...JPM has to pay for CDO and CDS.
Is US T not a safe security?
There will be more rumors building up on "risky bets" but in fact US Tnotes are risky... so expect JPM going skyways in a copule of weeks if not days....Dr Ben will do the job.
Doesn't this match or coincide with PBOC's lowering reserve requirements ?

right on DaveO, see your levels...

Thinking longer term, my bias is shifting to '1. teens' if not parity...seeing more and more evidence of the EZ not being able to keep the euro together...at least in its present form...but hey, that could be a few years away...

so for now general bias is down...playing upside elsewhere..
