That was me the real one. My reasons for this call are simple: It's just too obvious to call for lower levels. I know that the UK is in deep trouble. But at times where no one seems to like the pound often the exact opposite happens. It's always dangerous when too many guys are on the same side...

Hi Ashraf , how soon GBP/USD 147 do you estimate. some saying 140 by month end but I cant see that ?

Callum, yes, Chinese interest rate decisions are NEVER scheduled. All past rate hikes (2004-2007) came in on unscheduled meetings. Here's another thing, i remember once in 2007, they raise rates on a Sunday evening.

Hi Ashraf, sometimes I hear Chinese release data on weekends incl Sunday. Do you think this is likely? I also noted your comment this is not a scheduled release, so this could be anyone's guess :-)
