@Gunjack Congratulations!! I didnt place any bet but I just want him to keep scoring! He is one of the best scorers we have in the team. I prefer Milito than Tevez but if they keep winning is the same.

Well put - I noticed too! Now HOW could the bookies miss this one? He's CERTAINLY one of the best (& underrated!) forwards in the worrrrrrrrrld!

I'm behind Argentina since 1990...and am not even REMOTELY surprised that Higuain scored. Sadly, I missed the game (but did YOU watch? :p)...but when s\one texted that Argentina won 4-1, I asked 'how much did Hig score (while e/one else must be asking 'how much did Messi hit' *heheh*)'.

I reckon Messi will replicate the same mid-f/striker (attacking mid-f) role made famous by Maradona! He'll be the king-maker, if not the kind!

Another one you may want to 'spread' on is Klose. Keep an eye on him. last WC? :)

@Pabloc75 I placed a spread bet on Higuain to be one of the wcups top scorers...his spread was ridiculously cheap considering the season he had for Madrid, if he even finishes in the top 5, will be happy days all round

Yesterday, Swtizerland's win confirmed to me (just like Inter in CL) what a great manager like Hitzfeld can achieve even against superior teams. Saadane & Co and could learn from that. I think if some African teams were coached by the likes of Hiddink and Hitzfeld, they could have made the world cup semi finals by now.
