Dave
yes you have a mathematical mind. Indeed forecasts from statistics can be more wrong than chart tealeaf reading which is as precise as coin flipping. So 50% of calls are right. But economy forecasts from statistics can be always wrong.

Even the most dumb economist can work out how long it would take to get unemployment back to say 4% and I mean a genuine 4% from around current 17%. And then there is the need to take in young working age immigrants to balance the demographics. Oh Lordy, might as well give up now.

And I think the 150K/month is little more than standing still. Stand still I think is about 140K

catnip, the thing I like about economists is the statistic that most are consistently wrong. Is it 95% ?

redstone, mission impossible

chinese spend 100 years to become democracy, but still not yet.

today, my friend in beijing show me an old news about 04/june/1989. just before that date, newspaper said young graduate 100 years salary juast be able to a new home in beijing.

nowadays, beijing property price at that high again. 1 square meter new home about 50000 RMB (7500usd).

i also heard many young women will not get married with a man without "new" property. scary story, i am afarid maybe i should find a girl friend in britain...@-@

Economists ( those weirdos never making calls from charts) figured NFP must be min 150 k to sustain growth of economy. Thus we have an interesting point here.
QE2 month by month may be too slow. If job growth doesn't go above 150 k month by month
, a market correction stocks and commodities must occur as the negatives from European debt, US foreclosures and US debt ceiling will manifest earlier than Q2. Increasing QE would not change that. USDx could reach and top 85 . The inflation in economies which hold US debt in USD will explode. Titanic China will hit an iceberg and the unsinkable will sink.

I wouldn't mind betting something completely unforeseen will occur but its time for some other nation to make a better job of "leading by good example". USA are spent out and irrecoverable imo, drowning in their own BS.
