i rather use a combo of a few things,tech s/r posted by the more experience traders,i only look @ pairs that are overbought/oversold try to limit my downside,an i really depend on fundl,plus i use acct/margin manegment i always trade with 4-1 cash-position.everytime i use a stop i got out just as it turns,so obvious it wasn;t working for me so i got rid of using them an the new way works very good.my worst trade went against me 250pips audusd in dec lol..my own fault but i saw my mistake an they won;t happen again:)..other than that im usually only off by 100-150pips at worst an not too long 3-4weeks ok gl:)

i don;t want to day trade but with all the day/day volitility i find it too risky to look far out an try to decide were markets will go in 6mth-yr.but when i do look further out i see a usd rally(for next 2q) therfore i rather short these majors gbp eur aud an long usdcad.but i must admitt im gettn better at putting the pairs in strength-weakness an @ the moment cad is strongest with gbp folowed by aud-eur.an with the help of the more experince tech traders im making some good moves lately:)

thanks for the input i was looking to short the gbpusd @15950 but gonna watch it more see if it gets to 160level mayb then enter a short position:) ..closed out my aususd short @9870:)have a greart day

@the uk guys..can any of you recommend things one should really see while visiting london ive been told to check out the van gouh museum..was thinkn on flying over to amsterdam for a day:) ...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..gl:)

@daveo, i know the opposite can be said about the usd forming its own bearish double top..lol..i guess time will tell how it plays out .but it kinda makes sence for the dollar to rally fresh profits be made an profits be taken off golds runup along with s&p an oil..at some point going long has to be very risky @current levels with the fundel day/day volitility still very explosive.any ways a case can be made for both sides of the fence an i realize when applying the words"makes sence" is probly not the best thing to do when talkn about markets as they tend to catch us off gaurd an do the opposite:(..gl guys see ya all in london:)

nice tripple top in th gold chart with a test an fall through of the 1360(1355) level put that with another wekly close below the 1377 level looks like there a exit from the gold trade albeit a orderly exit, next stop looks like 1320s after that not much support until we hit 1250.which could explain the orderly exit as the bulls want the key support levels thourghly tested b4 free fall to 1250:)...chris vermeulen article on gold&usd i found very interesting an agree with as ive been sayn for awhile that 2011 could prove to be the yr the usx rallys.also read a report this morning on aususd an it was saying it could be time to sell the aususdhttp://bit.ly/e5bxax (seeking alpha) hopefully that will take u to the link..ok guys time to get long the usd an see if this plays out gl next week:)
