@Chloe, I havent seen ED's vids for several weeks but will try find time to visit them more for "appraisal" purposes. I don't know what he means by gap down. I have no gaps on my EU charts. Forex tends to gap a bit at the sunday openings but mainly related to our time zones/broker times etc. Maybe he needs to change his feed :-) Sovereign Intervention probably causes gaps also for jpy, chf occasionally

Sounds like he is talking about stocks. Stocks love to fill gaps after overnight futures' exhuberance leads to gapping at the cash open. The filling of gaps is like a glorious stop run to the "innocent", then the mkt reverses again. Price generally likes tidy housekeeping. Its when you get a parabolic move like the silver up move lacking any structure that the warning bells ring loudly. What's known as a run of "singles" in market profile terms. Its like if you build a house too quickly without observing structural engineering criteria, the house will likely fall down when you finished it. 100% retracement as I have often alerted whenever we see over exhuberance.

gettin to know ya jacek:-) I get a feel for most traders. The difficult thing is knowing what timeframes they are talking about in a forum like this, unless they are very clear at stating. The noisy ones are easier to suss out than the quiet guys :-) Try teaching a trader who is frightened of asking a dumb question ----very difficult !

OK thanks, I missed just about all your commentary today with too many balls in the air. I am now starting on tweets 20hrs back :) Please slow down :-)

I see the stoch flattening on daily and the divergence on weekly and the potential H&S. Same on my charts.

It has been an eye opener to me the way currencies are paranoid about rates since joining your service about the same time as focusing more on currencies early 2010. I have a problem with the uk fundamentals in this respect as I often think the mkt is not really listening (interpreting) closely. My problem does not effect my trading however as price action always rules. I have found you to be a very great help in my quest to relate price action to fundamentals.

Ashraf, I try to give "constructive" comments but you have to forgive sarcasm or abrasion sometimes. You never send out a personal email to your followers/subscribers to build goodwill. A good time to do this is when someone subscribes and your welcome message can include various instructions which the paypal response does not do for you. Dealing with paypal alone is not like receiving a note from the man himself.

I agree with Sarah that your site needs overhaul so you could mention your plans in this respect to request forebearance. Failing some degree of personal communication comes across as you don't give a sh*t whether your customers come or go so you are inviting a high loss rate before you even start.

Just thoughts !

Now I shall find a few minutes to see whether I can find a proper archive in the site which contains all your charts going back to when you started this platform.

I anticipate a future problem with subscribers feeling they are paying for your non subscribers to receive much of the general analysis you provide via twitter, via the public forum etc. Only way I see to cover this overlap is to have a private section to your site with private forum also. So you have public site with public forum and sales details for services etc but the subscriber site is isolated.

NHS service one way or another will be dramatically reformed. Completely unaffordable even if immigration is now controlled. Doctors and consultants soaked up the majority of extra funding for their own personal gain during the last 7 years of Brown extravagansa. Doctors and consultants are all running their own highly profitable businesses at taxpayer expense. This cannot happen going forward. What cannot be afforded will not be afforded. The bond mkts will see to that.

Next problem is the cost of keeping the elderly into their late 90's, soon to be late 120's with medical advances. I have proposed that all us older generation check into the abatoir at say age 80 (or that to be unaminously agreed) in the interest of lightening the load for young working age taxpayers.

Drug companies must be capped on R&D costs. Don't trouble to develop or market any drug which is unaffordable. Cap should probably be 20/week treatment cost. That will bring the cost of drugs down.

Birth of badly handicapped/deformed babies another unaffordable cost to the taxpayer.

Obesity must be controlled. Too expensive to working age taxpayers. etc etc etc.

Our government have a very long way to go yet. They have hardly started.

@Hocac. you could research in the forum which is what it's there for. Its not very good for novice traders but I assume you have done much study and reading before attempting to trade silver. gl and gt.

@Qiman. I agree the silver fall was nothing to do with Bin Laden news and let's face it, traders would have to be in cloud cookoo land to think the exit of Bin Laden will make any difference to terrorist activities. If anything, terrorism could momentarily increase.

Silver was parabolic and I warned more than once in the forum that moves like that lacking structure most always fully retrace with equal ferocity. I could site many examples. Tracking gold told me a turning point was close at hand and when gold turns silver follows direction. It was all in the forum well in advance for anyone paying attention. No surprises to me whatsoever. Study of market profile will verify what I am saying. Of course after the event everyone and their dog jumps for explanations but it was all in the charts and adequately documented. Your theory about thin liquidy may well have powered the initial move.

@catOnip. Can you please give my your symbol for the Russian stock index you watch. I have heard you mention this before and its very interesting. Thanks.

jacek, I only use 3 min if I want to find an early entry set-up to fade at higher timeframe fib cluster level, very often this will be to hedge a longer term position or I just feel like some scalp plays. If the trade then takes off I start monitoring on 15 min to try maximise pattern reads etc. A lot of my trading is based upon daily timeframe but management utilises lower timeframes.

The question of what to post in forum is personal choice. If I were only analysing/trading one or two vehicles there would be more time to post the trade management in a timely way. Forums can detract severely from overall trading performance if one starts to give priority to posts. Retrospective posts are as you know seen as smart ass. Ideally everything posted needs to be in real time.

I do feel if guys post their positions they should qualify with reasoning and parameters so that any freshers can understand what is happening. Nothing wrong with saying "This trade is a blatant fade for which I will probably be punished" or better still submit the reasoning for the bias. I think you are pretty good at explaining yourself. Forums can run away with a lot of time and then we find we missed a perfectly good set-up been waiting for.

The forum is most definitley enriched with live trading, I have no quarrel with that.

skipper, I don't see a prob with your posts cos you always post at time of entry and explain yer logic and paramaters and seldom trade more than 2 symbols. I have trouble keeping up with all the fundi stuff which is basically what I am here for. Also I can be running trades on up to 10 symbols at any one time using methodology far from easy to explain. Better for me to be silent than mislead through lack of attention to the forum. I don't want to get tied into feeling an obligation to the forum every time I adjust a position, day or night. General comments are not subject to exact timing.

Must admit I am having to think about the considerable time required to keep up with the fundi side on all of this. Interesting as it is I'm not sure of the potential benefits. Ashraf prob the best out there but do I really need it ? Gettin old for 18 hr days :-)
