the usdchf stop at 9550 would have been a bummer for those in the trade as it is very rare we get any "luck" on spreads at a significant turning point. However, there was nothing to stop you re-entering supported by Ashraf's continued bias and your own analysis. Dropping down onto a small timeframe would find a tight re-entry position which would accomodate a tight stop a little above the original. Not all calls that anyone makes including Ashraf are going to be immediate winners. Some trades will inevitably get stopped out.

"Dave, the peculiar thing here, is that the more USDCHF will rally towards 0.98 and 0.99 (nears my 0.9850 and parity targets) the more likely some disgruntled people will persecute me over those 3 pips.

Ashraf "

Ashraf, I was overly critical and particularly not knowing whether you and forum use hard stops at all. I spose I should have been happier to see you stop out at your perceived logical level, yes by only 3 pips, and then select a re-entry. Never mind, last thing I want to do is provoke any ill feeling and my post was not well written. A question might have been more appropriate.

Dave.

I tend to play 3 units on most my trades. First two are taken off at logical targets and third unit is run. When I think momentum is waning and the move starting to exhaust I trail a stop to let market take me out. Longer term position plays I employ same principle on daily timeframe.

GBPAUD hit 100% symmetry on the nail at 1.6404. My next upside target would be 127.2% ext @ 1.6560

Potential support mentioned below played for a bounce in gbpusd @1.6080. GBP been strong on the currency meter today versus strong usd. Hence the coiling in cable. eurusd been much better play but reacted off my 127.2% ext sym, probably only temporary.
