I had closed the 1150 short positions at 1129 last week at a profit. So, I think I made a net loss of 8K. I closed the short positions at 1130 and 1120 today.

Well Asad, I bit the bullet and closed the remaining positions at 1155 and booked a 11k loss. Didn't expect Gold to go all the way up, without a mid way correction. I shouldn't have anticipated and traded against the trend. I hope, I learnt my lesson! :) Thanks for asking.

That would be cool, if gold comes down to 1070. I would then move from a hammered state, to a blissful state. Holding shorts at 1150.

Thanks everyone, for your views. I have been shorting at different intervals, starting at 1120 and also at 1150. It is indeed very difficult to pick the right levels and yes, I should perhaps not drive the wrong way and stick with the trend. Still learning!

All the fellow gold and silver traders, do you see both the commodities hitting resistance and retracing, given the huge run these past 5 days? What targets are you seeing from here? I am short on both metals and am getting hammered!
