@Carlco and @Ahmed:

Yes, it is surprisingly quiet. Calm before the storm indeed....

Good Morning Ashraf,

Does the USDJPY bearishness mean we can safely short other yen crosses like NZDJPY, GBPJPY and AUDJPY?

Thanks,

Mojo.

Hi Ashraf,

Curious here: between the NZDUSD and the AUDUSD, which one is a better short at these high levels?

Thank you,

Mojo.

@Gunjack: I won't speculate about how to trade this news. My guess is only as good as yours, sorry.

Hello Ashraf,

What catalyst do we need today to set a clear direction for dollar strength/weakness? Many USD pairs appear trapped b/w support and resistance thus far today. Your thoughts??

Good Morning Ashraf,

Would you please share your thoughts on this USDJPY = 88 target?

Thanks,

Mojo.

@ Raulin:

I am inclined to agree with your assessment. The Kiwi Dollar short tempts me and yet I am not seeing a break below its comfort range/support (between 0.6390 and 0.6200) to pull the trigger. If breaks below, I am inclined to go short and hold till 0.5900.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Mojo.

@14Raj

Hello Raj,

I am curious to see what Ashraf thinks about your long USDJPY idea. I am curious also though, what is your target for your USDJPY long? Are you looking for a huge retracement or just the recent pivot high of 93.50?

Thanks,

Mojo.

Gentlemen,

Presently the U of Michigan's worse-than-expected consumer numbers appear to be weakening the dollar. Should we see this as an opportunity go long on the EURUSD and GBPUSD? Both show gains since 9AM EST.

Welcome your thoughts....

Regards,

Mojo.
