Do you think GBP made a double top pattern as 2 times near to 1.7 and at mid 1.57 , so if

you accept double top till where can GBP drop ?

Dear Ashraf ,

If you pay attention to Chart of DXY since 2000 , dollar decreasing, but till 2006 FED rate hikes were exist but couldnt stop the depreciating of Dollar then , last december FED decreased the rate to 0.25 and dollar was around 70 but then till march 2009 dollar inreased to 90 ,

Hence , FED rate decision and dollar value are independent ? or not the main factor?

Do you expect on 16 Dec. a surprise 0.25 point rate hike from FED ?

In our country nowadays for Dollar deposit accounts annual rates nearly 3.5 so will it not be a new carry trade ?

Take the money from USD and bring us no need to change it national currency leave it as dollar account and take % 3.5. rate.
