"hello ashraf can i sell eur/yen and where stop and take profit "

This is exactly what I mean...

Yes you can sell EUR/JPY, you can also buy if you like. ;)

No offense but I agree with Qin here. It was just a bit sarcasm, nothing more. ;) I mean, Qin just goes with the trend and buys dips. He's just more long term focused (like I am). Personally I don't see such a 3% drop in the Aussie nor do I see a 70% chance of a weekly close below 1.4550 in the Euro. But that's my view and of course I can be wrong.

To me it's rather funny to see all those guys here asking for advise how to trade. Ashraf I see no point in doing that. Ok, sometimes you're right and sometimes you're wrong. That's ok as this is just normal. But some here seems to think that you're right 100% and burn down their accounts.

Well I hoped it would work that way, that we return to the "good old" fundamentals where risk aversion doesn't necessarily mean a strong dollar. Looks like it slowly loses it's state as "safe haven".

It's not the GBP which shoots up but the USD which takes a dive. ;)

@TB: I did not only read his book but also joined his mentoring. I know he doesn't teach to use that high leverage but there is nothing wrong with huge leverage as long as you add to a winning position and build it up that way. Nothing that Dirk teaches, I know. ;) But I said that my trading is _based_ on BWILC, not that I purely trade it that way.

I use a mix of fundamentals and technicals where the single entry is the less important thing. My trading style is based on BWILC from Dirk du Toit.

Leverage can become very powerful if you add to a winning position. That way you can above 20:1 without any additional risks (of course using stops in that case).
Personally I don't use stops at all - only under some circumstances (e.g. if I gear higher to be able to sleep at night. *g*).
My strategy is rather simple. Go with the trend (well, sometimes against it like now by shorting the Euro), buy dips by scaling in, use low leverage...

Qin, I believe you. Using 8x leverage is not bad at all. I gear sometimes even higher even though I usually use 0.5:1 up to 2:1 per entry.

If one is interested, I share my trading results (I don't make a living from them though): http://www.myfxbook.com/members/xaron
