Talking of Ed Matts, last Friday I added him to the twitter feed but was shocked at the stream of consiousness one way conversation. I found I could not cope with that as its really only video alerts needed to keep an eye on what he is doing.

I emailed him on Saturday and had a very courteous response straight back. He suggested using a different twitter name just for video alerts and here it is if you had the same problem:-

Hey Dave, mine is bigger then yours (ie. posting history..) doesn't rub me right way either.. perhaps simple apology all it's needed..

And btw I don't get pissed on sherry. Tis a 6.00 pm habit, just the one you understand. If I want to get pissed I will opt for the whisky bottle. Seldom happens I can assure and never when trading !!!

Jacek, I assumed you a guy, sorry for error. In RT rooms I have moderated in the past I always had an agreement with the gals that they would accept "guys" as generic in the interests of speed. Never was a problem but apologies anyway.

sorry Cleo but getting pissed on sherry and posting/voicing silly stuff here or anywhere in public is not excuse at all.. as quite few other "high profile individuals"!? can testify in recent times..

@jacek. Now you are confusing me, thought you suggested Ashraf removed one of my posts and I know nothing about "Osjek's recent post" which you say was offensive.

When Osjeck posted on Friday he thought we were being stupid and you backed him up I checked both your histories. In both cases your posts on Friday were the very first posts you had ever made. I think that speaks for itself and you should not be too surprised at the response you received from me and Sir Ignore, your targets.

Let's call an end to this and I hope you make a habit of making a "positive" contribution a little more frequently than your last 2 years. If you persist in making negative posts about regular contributors in the forum having now made a total of only 4 posts yourself I think you can expect at best a defensive response.


@Sir Ignore, I don't know if Ashraf plans to keep this forum going but frankly I think he should bin it and put it down to experience, move on with something better and more secure. I shall trial his new service for one month and cut it if there are probs.

I really miss my boat when the weather good and its been great last 4 to 6 weeks. Still waiting for the inevitable price collapse in UK for new boat and waterside pad :-) Meanwhile tradin & savin :-)

Good trading to All this week and nice long weekend comin up.

you are probably right Nor.. just started following this forum last week.. mistake eh?.. want keep it a private club.. and bush whoever you like.. sure.. plenty alternatives out there..
