Same applies to gold except silver is more likely to benefit from India demand.

Silver, if it can take out the 42.3 high, momentum could pick up in September with India seasonal demand.

deleveraging leading inevitably to deflation is not a matter of sentiment. The fundamental error of chartists, elliott wavers etc. is a wrong market model. There are no "investors" in stocks
who buy with their own money. Or rather these classical investors are a insignificant minority. Stock market is not a zero sum game because the big moves
is leveraged buying on margin or credit. Thus every time a liquidity crunch comes up stocks plunge.

It fits EW arch guru Prechter who been calling his 120yr super cycle since the end of the bull mkt in stocks in 2000. He started alerting 2 or 3 yrs before the 2000 highs. The 2002 lows were the first wave down with the 2007 highs a corrective which exceeded previous highs due to greenspan at the M.3 helm with ensuing us dollar depreciation. I believe from memory he sees Dow ultimately at c.600 :-)
