I satyed strong short in AAPL becoz never looking chartz rather cooking. But sold off all short somewhat too early at 584 ... after close AAPL below 580. I assumed some long squeeze must happen because of the big positions in long options and I think that has happened as hardly anyone was short in AAPL. But what started it? Form the hi AAPL lost 11% in a week that is
almost $40bln. Someone out of cash?

...on the US side - bluechip earnings results, leading indicator surveys, bldg permits, housing starts...expecting slightly better news overall...

Canucks - BoC rate decision--doubt they will hike but they definitely won't be lowering...monetary policy, CPI, leading indicators survey...again expecting relatively better performance than from those across the pond...
