The funds are repatriated today. I now have all broker accounts in London so if necessary I can get in the car and drive up to town armed with an iron bar.

There is a right mess going on at GoMarkets and associated companies, both in Aus and London. Nothing to do with eur but their credit rating in UK ops has been withdrawn and they been snatching funds from client accounts on the false pretext of them using arbitrage EA's. It is obvious they are about to go into receivership, presumably by playing their own book and losing.

I just don't have the time and patience to hang onto dodgy brokers and follow through the claims procedures when they finally go into administration. FXDD Malta was very obviously a wangle when the US reduced FX leverage.

Do you have a decent broker in Switzerland ?

Try to do à little withdrawl from this "segregated account" in NY to confirm... Even if FXDD are a serious broker

Italian and spanish yields well up today. US treasuries also well up but someone is holding up SPX and Dow etc

yes it turns out the Cypriots could have flown into London and withdrawn whatever they wanted from Cyprus branches.
