Thanks Mont - Doug tucker writes well - mostly related to futures trading - but lessons can be picked up for any market - explore the articles and indicators tabs - some interesting thoughts out there. He also posts on his home page on the current state of markets about once every 2 or 3 weeks.

the other guy you want to check out ishttp://twitter.com/steenbab - he is excellent on trading psychology and his blog is filled with a million gems - he trades the emini - and posts daily with links to some very informative blogs. here is one from yesterday http://traderfeed.blogspot.com/2010/02/stop-loss-points-in-trading-do-we-need.html

and the beauty of these two guys like Ashraf is: they are free

@NZVik: I like that article you posted. Chimes in with a lot of the conclusions I have gradually come to about the markets.

as I predicted HOURS ago, the PPT has euro and gbp trash, gold and aussie at the days highs, and with 35 minutes to spare.

The PPT has 30 more minutes to put another 57 points on DOW and 5 points on S&P for a plus-200 DOW day.

Did I NOT tell you PPT would jam into the US equity close, sending euro and gbp trash, gold and aussie to days highs?

Their shtick is OH SO predictable!

RKK - i normally don't hedge - my volume studies suggested a move down on S&P from 1085 - so down 6 points at this stage and out of it - S&P could breach 1094 today. I also think correlations between equity and forex are loose at this stage - so USD can strengthen and stocks can rally - though the relationship dynamics have been very fluid over the last couple of months.

@pippedoff - weather is hot and humid in Auckland - trading has been mixed - some good calls on forex but partly offset by losses on short S&P today.
