What determines the interest rate they will pay on reserves - Discount Rate?
Why is paying interest on reserves important?

Handler, i dotn think Fed will increase the actual fed funds benchmark, but they will pay interest on reserves. get used to hear this a lot more. Especially on Wednesday.

RBA may do it twice more (may be in summer)

I think this will be a big issue for this year.
Wich one of these banks do you see raising their interest rate the earliest? Any chance BoJ will do much this year?
