i believe this is hust another opportunity to short usdjpy, we saw a big risk aversion day yesterday we have a very good chance of another today even if not risk, its better to short above 94 and go long below 93.

Hello Ashraf,

I curious if you think this right here is a good place to re-enter long on USDJPY. It make a big bounce from yesterday's low. Do you think there is likelyhood this pair will cross 94 and go much higher from here?

Thank you,
Maria.

bojan, yes NOK is a decent short against JPY on risk aversion but SEK may be better than NOK to short. Swedens attempt to recover from a double-dip recession; the risk of a retreat in metals and uncertainty ahead of Swedish September elections could weigh on SEK and 2 weeks Sweden downgraded its 2010 GDP growth to 2.5% from initial forecasts of 3.0% doesnt appear to help either.

Ashraf

would NOK/JPY be one of the top pairs to short in a wave of risk aversion? Weekly chart has trouble closing above 100 SMA and it is making lower highs.

I keep taking only long positions on this pair since Shirakawa said "95.00 is a good number for Japanese exporters" , but I am skeptical of S&P, Dow rally's that just wont quit. My opinion is that Ashraf is indicating in very fine way what's coming to the markets in April 19 article. We'll see.
