"If Algeria plays to its potential we don't need to worry about our opponents," midfielder Karim Matmour said Sunday. "If we play our style of football we can beat anyone."

Obviously, Mr. Karim rules out the possibility of Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy and the rest of the remaining competitors ALSO playing their own "style of football". Clearly, an emotional statement.

Speak from the head man...not your heart!

Gunjack,

I'm neither a broker, nor a trader (& probably the reason why I'd never get THE card *jeez - here we go again!). I'm in a quite different line, optmizing processes and operations. Aaaaaaaaaaaaanyhow, I luuurrrvvv visitng the clubs...NOT so much for the drinks...as for the ambience & 'experience' (though you just HAVE to admit that Papa Jules is King Mixologist when it comes to cocktails!!).

Ideally, I could have been a weekly newspaper columnist 'sampling' clubs! ;) Btw, let me know your cousin's place and I'll try sample it s/time (not that I'm ANY authority :p).

About the AL party thing...well, HOW many TIMES has EACH of us suggested it take place...but seems it has to come from the horse's mouth!

P.S. I can't help NOT writitng this but this is so funny - Aussies lost one hotshot to a red card in the first match...and now Cahill in the second! How funny is THIS?! *lolz* It's like Argentina losing Messi in the first and Milito in the second! In any case, Cahill's h/ball was cheeky!

Algeria has no fear of the United States at the World Cup.

Algeria's surprising 0-0 draw with England saved it from becoming the first team to exit the World Cup. Now the north Africans are targeting a win over the Americans and a spot in the next round.

"If Algeria plays to its potential we don't need to worry about our opponents," midfielder Karim Matmour said Sunday. "If we play our style of football we can beat anyone."
