'sarcastic abt your lack of knowledge' lol.....he is a good marketer it seems..but not trader..
and if you need 'free fx advice' he has his opinions posted everywhere..but he MAY be the first to tell you.
develop your own analysis and trading style...

Hi Forum Ignore dave,

I have had the pleasure of meeting Ashraf and when he is not being sarcastic about your lack of
knowledge he's a very nice chap. But he is the first to acknowledge that he is not a genius, when
he gets his calls right he can be close to brilliant, when he gets calls wrong he is just like
any other mortal. As we all know FX is a multi dimensional sliding matrix, nobody can get it right
all the time. In my opinion ashrafs views are the best overall analyses you will get for free.

Well technicals show me that we run into a resistance around 1.3650. I expect some correction from here to maybe 1.32/33 but not below 1.30 anytime this year nor next year again...

Technicals give us clear parameters for trading. Short term fundamentals can contribute and make us better technical traders. Longer term fundamentals can take very much longer to play out than we might expect, almost ALWAYS.

Most purist fundamental traders I have known have found their bank accounts were inadequate to match their egos.

Our great leader employs a mix of all and that makes sense to me. Fundamentals are immensely interesting but so is EWA or any other worthwhile technical methodology. Some traders are just too lazy to study worthwhile "trading" methodologies. They prefer to spend hours preaching their "opinions" in forums.
