EVERYONE, see my IMT on the BoE. They did not announce more purchases which should bepositive for GBP but market widely expects BoE to buy more in August. Also FX not trusting the temporary rally in equities that some of you have alluded to. Read my tweets on jobless claims, which despite their decline, they were not positive for the market (July 4th holiday). But this is a choppy market and one cannot understand every single move.

Crude price is moving in line with Dow. Does this means USDCAD would move sideway?

Hey,
The stock market is up today......hedge fund is looking for news to long USD now...

Yesterday, Yen was rising a lot.....Japanese government had comment on Yen....which curb Yen strength further...

BOE didn't announce QE.....hedge funds are having meeting now.....

Gentlemen,

Why does it seem that the Dollar crosses ( GBPUSD, AUDUSD and NZDUSD) are lacking direction today?

what a shock BoE delivered today. Just goes to show that technical analysis cant always work due to surprises.

But ashraf your minimal risk strategy for sterling today was well called for.
