partisan, they will try to do both, riae rates and keep Yuan robust, but wont let it appreciate beyond 4 or 5% this year--especially if they riases rates by at least 75 bps this year

Ashraf -
Do you see a stronger Chinese yuan sooner than expected - as a preferred policy move to interest rate hikes, reserve adjustments etc viz inflation? If so, what effect do you think it would have on precious metals?
Many thanks,
John

One might choose to avoid australian miners in Queensland. One example of unpredictability !

@Gunjack. No I don't trade gold stocks or ETF's, tend to stick with the futures (YG). I know there is often a mechanical advantage to selecting individual stocks to trade so long as we choose the right ones :-) Mining stocks is imo a minefield so good research is required.

Yes cad and stocks back in line for crude upside, just gold lagging. Now prepared for the crude move down to be labelled ABCDE corrective, implications would be new highs.

@Said CL slowly moving upwards...and FTSE is on fire today...Gold miners moving up v nicely, buying dips is still a good strategy in this mkt
