Gold virtually kissed a 127.2% ret level today at 1335.3. I suspect will go to 1310 next but if it shows signs of a bottom here then I am looking for long entry. Need some confirmation either way. Its case of bracketing here.

I used to run an eSignal plugin to backtest the "character" of different stocks and commods. The idea was to fine tune entry and exit parameters and particularly the optimum trailing stop space. All instrument results were significantly varied.

I would be happy if he had let me know that... maybe on my next visit to Chicago..
he has a knack to talk 12 hours without a second of a break about systems of logic so could be I missed the important parts

yes and it is in fact an algorithm used in psychology for personal self assessment .
Thus he assigns commodities various personality types as different personalities respond to
external events in a manner which is typical for them. Very useful for designing commercial ads.
He trades only spot .
I see some value in this idea . It could work for particular stocks as well but not for fx.
