@Nasakoto san - the protests in Saudi will be short lived, there is not a chance that the Americans will EVER let Saudi royal family and their precious oil get harmed.

On Egypt I can't see how Mubarak's position is now tenable, he will be removed and unfortunately another US approved strong man/autocrat will take his place. Egyptian generals were in Washington yday according to CNN, prob to discuss an orderly handover of power and a safe country for Mubarak to move to. Personally I hope the oppressed ppl of the arab world rise up and overthrow their corrupt leaders.

@TG
This is not negative comment. This is called constructive critics. Constructive critics stimulutes people do better.

No one has 100% correct calls. But also no one is always right. So there is nothing wrong for a person to admit his mistake. In this way the others see that he is doing the necessary corrections. Otherwise there is even less guarantee that his current call could be right and not turn out to be like the previous SP500 call.

I also mentioned that now I expect the SP500 to start a correction. However at 1200 I did not expect a correction, which turned out correct.

And lastly, speaking of negativity, you are the one that is writing insults ("but knowing a person of your nature... you will be selfish"), so first lookk at yourself before name calling others.

Good luck.

To Boli :

there is always people like you around... to generate negative comments...is there anyone you know who has perfect calls in all markets... if you do, PLEASE be so kind to let us know.... but knowing a person of your nature... you will be selfish and keep it to yourself!

Lets assume, the mkts falls from this level (1300) so he is out by 7-8% could you do better?, if you could... you will not be in this site?

I agree with Ashraf... why focus on negativity.... Tks Ashraf for the continued education and commentary.

Yemen and Jordan are most probably next, then possibly spreading to Saudi and Syria and Iran.
This could be major. If the protesters succeed also in Egypt (and this is obviously getting close) then this will embolden protesters in the above mentioned countries. And it could soon become scary.

Short lived or the start of the end of days in 2012?
I am glad I reserved a place for me and my family in the bunker.

short lived.
max projection for oil is 110/115 capped for 2011. major resistance if broken after QE3 then yes 145.
there will be no external intervention as expected.
