Too many traders are always looking to fade the trend instead of going with the path of least resistance. Its understandable if a good move early entry was missed and then ya think gord its too late now to catch the darned train.

@putko,i agree 100% and think its risky to short g/s over a long position..i was commenting on something ashraf talked about in the jan23 seminar on how the ratio is trading @ 30yr lows an how he think this ratio should be moving up but to reach old high levels its gonna take a huge catylyst to make it happen and markets have to correct by atleast 10%..ok thanks gl:)

There yer go again Chloe trying to anticpate fundies. Following the trends is much easier until the trend gives some degree of reversal confirmation.

I agree with Putko on gold silver and admittedly on the NG we tracked today the spike down was on ineventories and the previous low tested also happened to be at 100% sym so jury out on direction from here.

As I said these 2 warships can do nothing. This is funny. Do not buy into this svare. Buy USD/CHF and sleep tight.

Chloe,

CL should be heading lower, should there be no further political headlines.

Be patient. That's what 'they' want you to do - go long... :)

Qingyu,

You've GOT to be joking, mate! WHAT can be MORE translucent, fragile, surreal and (discreetly) classy than a Chinese girl, esp/ those stylish ones from Shanghai?!

P.S. Well, provided you can keep up w/ their 'attitude'.

chloe, silver is moving up more than gold because silver market has structural issues - i.e. depletion of Comex inventories. Silver market at this point can be easily cornered while this is not so with gold. Today silver is breaking out to new highs for this bull phase. This could easily go to 40 or 50 if someone big decide to play Hunt Bros again. So be careful.
