Europe is screwed,so is its neighbours and trading partners sterling and swissie, yen is prone to intervention, and the highly indebted dollar "best looking horse in the glue factory" is a safe haven or is it,more bad figures like philly fed or a state threatening default ??? Gold could break 1,600 ??

Target one at 1.6150 cracked and although resisting stubbornly looking like a test of 1.61 with london markets closed monday, asian session monday could be interesting to see if asia sells or supports at the 150 line, made a mistake by the way,not a triple coalition, now the spectre of an outright labour victory???

Intact for 2years but with local elections tomorrow the liberals will get a real kicking and nasty premonitions of what could happen at the next general election if they fight as a separate party ???Mix in euro troubles, china troubles, and a dollar strong across the board, already sterling tested 1.6150 this morning, but the bounce off that is weak, think it could break before the weekend and test the 1.6 figure next week.

Got to be said, once upon a time I looked at the european union and the single currency as something of a progressive and enlightened development, that would bring forward a bright future for not only europe but as a beacon for the future cooperation of mankind.OK,I knew there were problems both political and ecconomic that I thought could be worked out but instead the whole project politically ,don"t even think about ecconomically, seems to have gone the way of that other great european institution born in the sixties,"the eurovision song contest",which no-one has really taken seriously for years!
