ptaczek, i share your sentiments. trust me....i have REALLY ugly shorts on gbp/usd. even im unsure of what is going on, i still feel the greece aid is a joke and so is the whole supposed recovery. there are still way too many underlying fundamental issues that everyone is downplaying. I have no idea what is going on....I asked ashraf about 2/3 hours ago and he says his target for gbp/usd for 1.48 is intact...so confused....

@ ptazczek....yes ptazczek, i agree with your view as well. Was hoping there would be a more substantial reason which was why I asked but since there is evidently NONE, I feel that holding onto my shorts wouldnt be such a bad idea anyway :D. So what if Greece is getting a bailout? its a matter of months before Spain and Portugal are exposed as well.

Hi Ashraf,

Do you still see GBP/USD in a downtrend? What has happened to all the underlying fundamental problems in the UK economy along with the up coming election?

Also, where do you see Gold from here?

Thanks,

karan

el shaer, i am short sterling at 1.495.....probably a terrible entry point but i can hold on because of my ability to utilize my margin. If you got wiped out in 200+ pips you probably should have taken a loss. Ashraf cannot know everyones account size and you should be more specific or use your own discretion.
