Machiavelli. I don't have much faith in Congress either, nor in ability to seriously address deficits by cutting spending. Even Greenspan stuck his ore in again yesterday, what a cheek showing his face, eh? !

Then today we hear Gordon Brown hopes to become new IMF chief, really ? Do we want someone who couldn't recognise a bubble if it hit him in the face to take the new IMF post. That would be the mother of all farce.

hows every1 this week???lol..still lots of volitility ic..fed still reluctant to let the $$ rally ..as we saw yesterday as s&p steps in with the neg outlook on usd credit rating lol...perrrrfecttt timing lol..made some off the short eur$ but covered wayyy too soon any ways just to make money was a good thing..flat on everything sitting in cash lol..gl guys:)

Dave, I don't have much faith in Congress. After all, if it'd be time to play hard ball, how could they enforce anything on the Fed? They can only talk ever so loudly, but they don't print or burn money.

And more to the point. We're still talking about how the Fed wants to ease further, while the first EZ hike was already done (mesmerizingly, I might add - BTW is that a word?) and we're trying to guess if there will be further ones soon. That to me signals a further rally in the euro. We might not even see a proper correction on the way to...
