You never ever place a stop exactly at the SR or trendline, these are always targeted for stop hunts.
You seem to do this fairly often.

We got stopped out by 2 pts & 3 pts in our 2 trades of shorting ES.

Should learn next time to not place stops so close or at the trendline shown in Friday's piece.

Short SP500 ESZ between 1129-1135, for limit between 1116-1123, stopped out at 1142 (high at 1144 therefore stopped out by 2 pts)

Short SP500 ESZ between 1126-1132, for limit between 1111-1118, stopped out at 1141 ((high at 1144 therefore stopped out by 3 pts).

Yes. Much part of decline was emergency sell off to meet margin calls, another hiking of margin.
Gold will come back if EU doesn't act.
