Well I don't think a default would make the trade very profitable but....a default and ECB rate down to .75... could do.

wave from 2623 still intact as long as it stays above 2930... only break below 2930 confirms wave has ended and may see pullback to 2730/50... or see next leg lower to 24xx level....
back above 3205 confirms move higher toward 3380/3400 level...

looking more like a range play for now between 2990/3000 and 3190/3200 level b4 deciding direction...
still favor move north as long as above 2930....

Hello..and good morning....

good stuff Cat..but seems to me the short-term trades are in difficulty much so my view is short here
for low 1.20's and if get chicken hedge back short use/chf temp....

euro/usd forming lower top.rebooting shortz..

I do smoke da weed, tho...

china seems to be helping others but not their own country. aside from eur biggest trader partner, what's really at the back of their mind is probably to get the support of the european should there be conflicts between the US and China for a bipolarity.

yes, contributions to politics could be a strong one, as many tries to squeeze the "up figures" during election - not just in the US but a few others. staying sidelined now .. cud be some range bound ..

Wen may buy Eurobonds but will not contribute to ESM. USDx goes stronger after China.

gov still expect china export increase 10% this yr, and RMB appreciate 2-3%.
